Earlier this week, I was out with my wife and kids. It was getting close to dinner time. As is the case when my kids get hungry they let ol' mom and dad know they're hungry. Repeatedly. Without ceasing. Persistently. Without thinking I asked my son, who just turned 6, had mom and dad ever forgotten to feed them? Had we ever not made sure they had enough to eat? Of course he said no, we had never forgotten to make sure they had plenty to eat.
Then it occurred to me, and I remarked to my wife, that God must feel the same way about us when we repeatedly ask of Him like He won't take care of us. Makes you think....
